Terms of sale

These terms of sale govern the subscription to the paid VocaText Pro service offered on the vocatext.com website. Subscribing to VocaText Pro implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.

1. Seller

VocaText Pro is sold by:
Jean Christophe, sole trader operating under the auto-entrepreneur scheme.
Address: 29 Rue Romain Rolland, 44100 Nantes, France
SIRET: 89273261100017

2. Service

VocaText offers an online audio-to-text transcription service. The free tier is available without registration. The paid VocaText Pro tier unlocks additional features (larger files, batch processing, stored transcripts) as described on the pricing page at the time of subscription.

3. Price

VocaText Pro is offered as a monthly subscription at €6.90 including tax per month. The applicable price is the one displayed on the pricing page on the date the subscription is taken out. The seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time, it being understood that the new price will only apply to subscriptions taken out or renewed after the change.

4. Payment

Payment is made online by bank card through our payment provider Stripe. The subscription is charged monthly, in advance, on each renewal date. No bank card details are stored on our servers.

5. Duration and renewal

The subscription is taken out for a period of one month and is automatically renewed for successive periods of the same duration, until cancelled by the subscriber.

6. Right of withdrawal

VocaText Pro is a digital service whose performance begins immediately after subscription. In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the subscriber expressly acknowledges that, by activating the service immediately, they waive their 14-day right of withdrawal.

7. Cancellation

The subscriber may cancel their subscription at any time, in one click, from their account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: Pro features remain active until that date, with no further charge thereafter, and no refund is made for the period already started.

8. Liability

The transcription service is provided "as is". Transcription accuracy depends on the quality of the audio provided and cannot be guaranteed. The seller may not be held liable for the content of transcriptions or for any indirect damage arising from the use of the service. The service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond the seller's control.

9. Personal data

The processing of personal data relating to subscribers is detailed in our Privacy Policy.

10. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the subscriber may first contact the seller in order to seek an amicable solution. Failing this, and in accordance with the French Consumer Code, the consumer may have free recourse to a consumer mediator. Failing an amicable settlement, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
